Very clean town friendly people.
Very clean town friendly people. More shops open on the weekends would've been geeat. Especially the bakery. Pub meal was great Donald pub. Had around 16 people there for dinner and everyone was happy with the meals.Guest review byTammyAustralia - 4.0
Donald is a quite little town.
Donald is a quite little town. Many closed stores, but still has life in the town. 3 pubs and a small supermarket. Not the place to be if you want to be entertained. Good walking tracks around town to tourist and historic places.Guest review byPeterAustralia - 10.0

Very quiet little town, but the local pub has a good meal on offer. A few mosquitoes and bugs around at dusk(but that’s most of Australia anyway) , but the hotel supplied a ‘burn off’ smoke repellant for the terrace area, which worked pretty well.Guest review byChristopherAustralia - 10.0
Donald is a quiet town but has a lot of little attractions...
Donald is a quiet town but has a lot of little attractions to do if there for a stay over. Lots of well maintained tracks down alone the river. Old train station park for kids to explore. Good old home style (large) meals available at the pubs or the local cafes.Guest review byBrett HicksAustralia

The family rooms are large with plenty of room. Clean and fresh inside and out. The outdoor seating area is fantastic with BBQs and large tables and nice plants everywhere. Was great place to sit and have drinks and nibbles. Located at end of the main street so close to all the shops and easy to grab a morning coffee or go to local IGA for items. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was very good and the bathroom very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I had a good dinner at the local Donald hotel. The Units had obviously been refurbished, and so were quite modern in appearance. The gardens were beautiful and unusual for a Motel.
