Stayed in new part of the hotel. Got a room upgrade on arrival which was a nice bonus. The room was spacious, clean, modern and had beautiful view onto the Alps. It even had a jacuzzi bath !

After a long drive from Prague on the way to Italy, we decided to stop in Wattens for some rest. We arrived quite late, but the self-check-in machine outside was efficient and made the process smooth for us. When we made it there, the parking was available right in front of the hotel for free. If not, there are other parking spaces around the area as well which makes things even more easier! The vending machines inside & nearby were a nice touch, offering snacks, water, and other essentials. Our room was clean and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay. The medium-sized bathroom was also clean, and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast before continuing our long drive back to Italy. The receptionist at checkout was fantastic and even offered us museum tickets - but sadly, we didn't have time.

Everything at Der WALZL is just perfect, from the kind staff that has always very lovely approach, to the beautiful rooms, to an amazing locations, to excellent breakfast and also the restaurant for lunch or dinner.     We received big appartment with our 2 kids. We thought of staying in modern part of the hotel as we see it in the advertesiment, but we stayed in old style rooms. But we liked it as it was two very big rooms appartment. Breakfast was also very nice and included local foods. Coffee was really good. We liked the around and a wonderful mountain view in the morning.

    Was ok but we didn’t stay in the modern block that appears as the main ‘hook’ images, rather the more traditional main hotel. It was quite nice if a little dated but quite groovy. Big room, excellent parking nice outside terrace area. Mini bar prices a little high and no free water in the room. Generally ok.
