Fabulous location, lovely apartment inside a medieval castle complex in a rural setting. It's super quiet and calm as well - never slept better. Also, it's an excellent choice for families, looking for a homebase when exploring the southern part of Waldviertel.

So much to love about this property! It’s beautiful, historic with many original features, wonderful staff - we booked 5 minutes prior to arriving and they couldn’t do more to make us feel comfortable, beautifully run, amazingly comfortable beds (cycled from passau to Vienna averaging 70km per day and this was my best nights sleep by far!), wonderful breakfast. I really hope we are lucky enough to stay here again one day and have recommended it to family and friends already despite only having stayed there last night. Even the village and neighbouring villages are stunning and rich with history and wine

The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, the atmosphere and the location of the hotel were perfect. The stay was a birthday present for my boyfriend and I couldn’t be happier with the choice. Also I can highly recommend the restaurant, the food was excellent.
