The Bay Harbor Lodge is 20 minutes’ drive from Everglades National Park and 8 km from Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. This hotel has cable TV in all rooms and a seasonally heated outdoor pool. The grounds and room were meticulously clean. They didn't nickel and dime us to death. We had our own designated parking spot (free) and access to complimentary kayaks and fabulous scones and coffee every morning! The staff were all friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast was incredible and homemade, Inés made sure everything was perfect and kept a fluid communication with us the whole stay. The place is truly an oasis in the middle of the city. A big room, lots of space, the restroom fully equipped with everything you may ever need and more. There were quite a few insects outside but even that was taken into account by Inés and she provided you with an spray and some special lamps to help.
