Located on a 15-acre operational farm, Tanzanice Farm Lodge offers accommodation within 4 km of the town of Karatu. The Lodoare Gate into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is 12 km from the property. Location is in a beautiful green area. Stuff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms and everything are very clean. Breakfast and dinner are very tasteful.

With lake views, Elephant lodge is situated in Kwa Kuchinia and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property. Well what can I say, Elephant Lodge is fantastic. It is actually nicer than the pictures, even though the pictures are pretty spectacular. The location is brilliant - it is a few minutes drive from the entrance to Tarangire National Park. You do have to pay a fee for staying in the conservation area but that is a Government fee, not a hotel fee, and it's not a prohibitive cost. The accommodation was beautiful with a lovely rooftop terrace. The food was delicious and really well presented. The gym has everything you would need for a workout and the swimming pool was gorgeous. The Manager is a big hearted, funny and charming chap with an interest in conservation and luxury tourism and one foot firmly in both camps, and he does a great job of combining both. He is very present in order to ensure guests have the best experience. His team of staff are exceptional. Guests are allocated one main person to look after them and it works really well (Lillian was our person - and she was so lovely, cheerful, accommodating attentive without being intrusive.) The watering hole is right next main area of the accommodation and is frequently visited by elephants and other animals (as the name suggests). All of our party loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. It made a fantastic trip extra special. Thank you for the memories, we will never forget it.

This is a very, very special place to stay. Easy reach of ngorogoro, Manyara and Taringire. Just blown away by how lovely the staff were. This is a little slice of heaven.

With mountain views, Africa Safari Karatu is located in Karatu and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Quite place with super friendly stuff. Very good breakfast, comfortable bed, testy food in restorant! Great value for resonable price. Will stay again.

Providing garden views, NGORONGORO CORRIDOR LODGE Karatu in Karatu provides accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. Spacious and great location to visit the Crater. Ambience was good. Rooms modestly furnished but functional . And the staff was exceptional both the manager and the ladies employed there.
