With Uhuru monument reachable in 5.9 km, Villa Arumeru offers accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge. We stayed at Villa Arumeru for one night after completing a 3 day safari. The grounds and the hotel itself were beautiful, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. We had a sometimes cranky toddler with us and throughout the stay they did all they could to cheer him up. Prior to our stay, they reached out to change our rooms to better accommodate our group, and the change was perfect, complete with a shared balcony with a view of Mt Meru. The food at the restaurant was great, and it was the perfect respite spot after three days driving all over the parks. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Arusha!

There is a private bathroom with shower in some units, along with free toiletries, a hairdryer and slippers.... We were fortunate to stumble across this brand new lodge just outside of Arusha. Everything was perfect, from the modern and comfortable rooms to the wonderful staff to the excellent food. Being one of the first guests we were treated like royals. Conveniently located on a little hill, you have a great view of Mount Meru and of the Arusha airport. You can watch a lot of little birds in the savannah trees from the dining area, or watch the small planes on their final approach to the landing strip. The lodge has done a great job landscaping with lots of native plants and trees, and is currently in the process of finishing up the last rooms as well as the pool area. If we are ever back in Arusha we know where to stay!

Situated in Arusha and only 27 km from Old German Boma, Shavia Lodge features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Although out of arusha, it is half way to moshi and near other attractions. Owner and staff are very helpful. After long time heard the Silence.

We stayed here the night before our Safari. The rooms feel like you are in a treehouse, the sound of the river is so relaxing, and the service is top notch, everyone was so kind and friendly! I highly recommend this be your Arusha pit stop before/after safari or Kilimanjaro.

Featuring garden views, Natural villa Arusha features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 12 km from Old German Boma. A lovely compound that was a really pleasant retreat. Very nice touches were left for us, including fresh vegetables eggs etc.

Beautiful, amazing landscaping; wildlife such as 3 species of monkeys, zonkeys and water buffalo, lots of birds; lovely accommodations with local African decor and art; staff are excellent and make you feel at home; small pool to cool off after a warm afternoon; owners are fantastic; hospitality next to none.

Elewana is well located, private, and has a feeling of exclusivity. The food is great, the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend this as a couple location.
