It has everything you need, especially in the kitchen—lovely dishes and all the essentials for cooking (we were particularly pleased to find spices, which are rarely provided). The beds are comfortable, and the view from the window is absolutely stunning. There’s a pleasant, gentle sound of the nearby river. Everything is thoughtfully arranged with great care for the guests! We will definitely choose this apartment again when we return to this wonderful location.

Great location of the main road and a 10 minute walk to the centre of Lauterbrunnen. Great contact with the hosts who ensured our stay was perfect with great local tips! Chalet Schwendiboden features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Grindelwald, 2.1 km from Grindelwald Terminal. The female owner was very friendly and spoke easy to understand English, which made me feel at ease. Due to heavy rain, the train from Grindelwald to Interlaken was cancelled, but she was able to show us how to get on the replacement bus, which was a great help.

We were two families with 3 kids and it was perfect for us. The spaces, the available equipments, the location, the view - really everything was fantastic.

Lovely warm welcome from Stefano. Very comfortable and well-equipped. Enjoyed eating in the beautiful garden, which really made the place feel much more spacious. Very effective blinds and fans kept inside temperature good.
