We wanted somewhere for an easy one night stay that we didn't need to take everything, including the kitchen sink with us. This was great for the two of us and our little dog. Towels and bedding provided. The sofa turns into the bed and I have to say because it solid it was one of the comfiest we've slept on. Had a beautiful outlook and the goats were soooo cute as was the little pony. Thanks for a great stay!

Good size caravan, had everything you need. We left my son's back pack with his teddies in it by accident and the owner rang us and posted it on to us.

Howbeck Lodge, a property with a garden and a terrace, is situated in Hesket Newmarket, 30 km from Askham Hall, 41 km from Buttermere, as well as 26 km from Brougham Castle. Location was a little out of the way, but it was such a peaceful place to stay. This one cow seemed to have been cranky and never stopped mooing overnight, but I ended up liking the cow sounds in the end!

Very well equipped caravan, from the kitchen to everything you could possibly need to keep the kids happy and entertained. Comfy beds, nice and clean throughout. Beautiful location, the host was so helpful, friendly and accommodating for our booking on short notice. We will definitely come back again!
