The air conditioner was very strong and the TV had many channels. The host was very warm, welcoming, diligent, friendly, and helpful. There is a great night market and many stores nearby.

Offering a terrace and mountain view, Drizzle Tea House is set in Fenchihu, 37 km from Wufeng Park and 42 km from Chiayi Tower. The place was gorgeous. We added the teahouse on Line and they told us they would pick us up at the bus stop, so we didn't have to walk up the mountain at all. We were allowed to explore the tea plantation by ourselves. In the factory, the owner shared different teas with us and explained a lot about the different kinds, so we were able to ask any questions. Their tea was also provided inside the rooms. The breakfast was fantastic with a gorgeous view in the morning, and afterwards the owner's daughter held a tea ceremony, trying three different kinds of teas. One of the most special experiences we have had our entire trip. The daughter also speaks English quite well. The family's sun was also able to give us and two other guests a ride back to the bus station. We had a fantastic and very special experience and would come back any time if we could. It was worth every cent.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Hongpeng Coffee Station Homestay is set in Meishan, 5.8 km from Meishan Taiping Old Street and 24 km from Janfunsun Fancy World. The place is run by a family. The son helped us carry our luggages to the 2nd floor. The place has no elevator. Our room is huge with all the basic amenities. It's got a great view from the patio. On clear days one can view the sun rise there. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. It's about a 10 min drive from the Tai Ping sky ladder. There are no resturants close by, so grab your bento from the Tai Ping old street. Highly recommended.

The owner was so kind and helpful. They has foot baths available overlooking the gorgeous mountains. Zero complaints about this stay!

Located within 31 km of Jiao Lung Waterfall and 34 km of Alishan Forest Railway, Alishan Hinoki B&B offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Leye. The family room we had was truly beautiful with great view and attentions to lots of details (the tea set !). All the staff was very friendly and attentive and help us a lot. And very good breakfast !

Situated in Alishan and only 24 km from Alishan Forest Railway, Sunrise Yunqi Teahouse features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The small family running the teahouse were so friendly and welcoming. The teahouse itself were full of little personal handwritten quotes and touches that made you really feel at home!!! The spread of food was very generous and high quality! In many ways this place exceeds even some of the big named five star hotels in a big city!

Located in Kung-t'ien-ts'un and only 25 km from Wufeng Park, 品味觀峰民宿 provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very comfortable accommodation. The room was spacious and very clean. Facilities looked quite new. The host Jimmy and his family were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. He even drove us to the nearby town to kill some time when we missed the bus and had to wait for the next one.
