Amazing Desert Experience – Peaceful, Clean, and Unforgettable! I stayed at the desert camp for one night on my own, and it was truly one of the best travel experiences I’ve had. The camp itself was beautifully set up – very clean, peaceful, and with a truly magical atmosphere under the stars. What made the experience even more special was the amazing driver and guide, Ali. He was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire stay. His passion for the desert and local culture really came through, and he made sure everything was perfect. Even though I was traveling alone, I never felt lonely – just completely relaxed and in awe of the stunning surroundings. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert experience! And the food was really nice too.

Peaceful but exciting, fantastic glamping tents, luxurious with a private deck. Food was delicious. Staff were outstanding. Said was a fantastic person.

We had an amazing experience to sleep in the middle of the desert. The tent has everything you need. The bed is big and the bathroom is equipped with everything and it’s a nice experience to go to the bathroom at night and see the stars. We also had dinner and I would recommend it. It was delicious and after that we had a camp fire with marshmallows and guitar songs. The staff is amazing and very friendly. I recommend to stay here for an awesome Oman desert experience.

Left our vehicle at meeting point and paid for return trip transport which was definitely the right choice. Others who drove themselves found driving on the sand and changing road challenging and followed us out on departure. All the staff were great and really wanted everyone to have the best experience. Sunsets from the dunes, tent accommodation, food all great. Didn’t try the shower set up, very basic. Tour to the Bedouin house, camels on the roadside, expert driving through and down the dunes, night time scorpion walk - all amazing. We missed the part in the communications where payment was cash only at time of departure but were able to go to an ATM on our return to the meeting place and take care of payments

Arab desert camp, ubicado en Al Raka, ofrece alojamiento con sala de estar. Hay un baño privado totalmente equipado con bidé y artículos de tocador de cortesía. The hospitality and warmth of the people here takes all the credit. The tents were good and had comfortable beds. Very well setup. The food was good especially the morning Kadak chai. It was a very good stay and experience. Special mentions to Badar who was such a fun guy. He also took us for a drift in his 4x4. He is a very happy jolly person. Very good host.

SandGlass Camp está ubicado en Bidiyah y tiene alojamiento con vistas a la montaña y parrilla. Sunset and sunrise is great frome hill (5 min from camp). Camp has free transfer from town! Said is a wonderful host. He organized an interesting unique accommodation in the desert, he organized a delicious traditional dinner and breakfast. And he also managed to create an atmosphere of friendship and unity between the residents. People from different countries gathered for dinner, breakfast and just casually and shared their impressions. Said is an interesting, positive, smart person who makes sure that his clients have fun and are interested! I would like to separately note that in the evenings it is great to sit by the fire, tell and listen to stories and admire the stars in the desert. This experience is priceless. Thank you very much. I highly recommend this desert camp!

Ubicado en Al Mintirib, en la región de Al Sharqiyah, wahiba Bedouiens privae Camp tiene alojamiento con estacionamiento privado gratis. We had an amazing private (only 2 tents), exclusive but authentic experience in the desert. Hamad is a super nice host, and we can't be grateful enough for Hassan's courses. The tent was pretty large and comfortable, We wish we could go back once in the future ❤️

The whole experience was faultless. It is a family run business, created by the father who died only 2 years ago and was a much loved desert conservationist and guide. We were beautifully looked after from the moment of pick up in Muscat by Abdullah for whom no request was too much trouble to our arrival in camp. He acts as the best guide, so you see and experience the very best of Omani hospitality. Rasheed manages the business and Hamid runs the camp very well to maken sure our desert experience is unique. We were lucky to have the whole desert camp to ourselves for the two nights, so we enjoyed private sundowners and stargazing without any interruptions! prompt morning pick-ups took us to a delicious breakfast in the main Nomandic camp. The whole camp has been thoughtfully designed to fit into the landscape with a totally natural feel. The tents are lined in colourful carpets to retain local design feel and comfortable beds. The camp is unique in every way and well worth the adventure. It is completely authentic. The whole team speak excellent english and Abdullah has a terrific sense of humour. We could not recommend a stay there more highly.
