Watching the sunset from our balcony each evening was truly delightful. The island is really quiet but has plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We hired bicycles at the guesthouse and visited 2 fabulous waterfalls and Don Khon's busier neighbour Don Det. The staff were always friendly and helpful and arranged our onwards journey right from our balcony! We loved our stay here and would love to return.

We had a lovely stay at the Souksan sunset guesthouse. We had a great view facing the sunset and it was so unbelievably beautiful. The room had great air conditioning which was so important as Don Det is so hot. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. The guesthouse is literally at the pier so we didn’t have to walk far from the boat. You can rent bikes to cycle for a very cheap price from the guesthouse.

There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. This was a really nice place to stay. A basic guest house that did everything really well. My room was immaculately clean with cold AC, a ceiling fan, and hot water. I don't know if it was because I just had quiet neighbors but I didn't hear any noise from the other rooms. They also provide laundry service for a fee and rent motorbikes.

Pakse International Airport is 152 km from the property. This place stole my heart. Located on the sunrise side of Dondet, it’s the place where to relax and recharge. The room is clean and spacious, same goes for the bathroom. The terrace of the bungalow offers a lovely view directly on the Mekong river. Wifi is fast and stable, I could work and have online meetings without any issue (40/50 mbps). The family who owns the bungalows also owns the restaurant right in front. They are extremely friendly and willing to help for anything you may need. Laundry service is offered for 15k per kilo. The area is quiet — just few restaurants around. Across the bridge you can rent a bicycle for 15k per day. This area is about 30 minutes baking from the sunset side of the island. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will also definitely come back!
