A recently renovated apartment in San Felipe de Puerto Plata and within 2.5 km of Fortaleza San Felipe, Villa Bellevue has a rooftop pool, comfortable soundproof rooms and free WiFi. It was great. The host was super friendly and helped us with everything. The accommodation was great and the several spaces to cook and eat.

Set within 2.9 km of Long Beach and 2 km of Fortaleza San Felipe in San Felipe de Puerto Plata, Villa Carolina Bed and Breakfast provides accommodation with seating area. It felt like a little oasis in the middle of a busy city. The swimming pool surrounded by mango trees bringing a blissful vibe. Walking distance to the main city attractions. Simple rooms but containing all we needed. Great and healthy breakfast. The owner extremely helpful and friendly, making us feeling like at home.

Boasting inner courtyard views, Casa Azul - Apartment offers accommodation with patio, around 2.8 km from Long Beach. It is set 2.6 km from Fortaleza San Felipe and features a shared kitchen. Danièle is exceptionally helpful, friendly, and welcoming. She goes out of her way to answer any questions you might have, both before and after you have arrived. I arrived in the afternoon of Christmas Eve. She gathered some solo travelers from the hotel and took us for a drive and walk around town. Then she managed to find one of the few restaurants that were open, where we all had a lovely meal together. The hotel is very cozy and homey, with a large rooftop, a terrace, and a garden.

Boasting a patio with inner courtyard views, a bar and a shared lounge, Garden By The Sea can be found in Sosúa, close to Laguna Beach and 14 km from Cabarete. Very hospitable staff. Room cleaned and reset everyday.

Featuring sea views, El Magnifico provides accommodation with patio, around a few steps from New Kite Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Is quite large and good for short or long stay. Location is not quite in the middle of town but easy walking to it. Jacuzzi and pool are great.

With garden views, Villa Rosa is set in Punta Rucia and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area. Probably one of the best accommodations in the Dominican Republic. The room was pretty big, everything was clean, tidy and in order. Working shower (which is hard to find in the country) as well as all the other amenities. Breakfast here is next level. Toasts, crepes, jam and honey harvested by the lovely couple who run the place. They serve it all on a table at the beach so you enjoy the view! Would definitely recommend coming here :)

Situated within 1.3 km of Laguna Beach and 14 km of Cabarete, B&B Pavillion offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Sosúa. The place was amazing, and Christina was really helpful for us during our stay. Very clean, nice pool and terrace, calm place.
