In the early morning, one may see kangaroos and a koala on the property. It is a perfect place to explore the whole island. Shops and restaurants can be found after a short drive in Kingscote. The hosts informed us about access to the keys well in advance and even helped us to book ferry tickets. Perfect place!

Sue, the owner is lovely and answered all our queries within minutes. This is a superb place to stay and we would highly recommend it for a brilliant holiday on Kangaroo Island.

Craig was a wonderful host. We got lost heading there at night and he helped us get settled. His recommendations were also spot on and we managed to see all the wildlife in the area, whether in the trees on the property (koalas, Kimmy, Jimmy, and Ducky) or on the coast (dolphins). Would highly recommend this property and any other the other CandE properties on the island. Tips for travelling to KI: - No small car hire even if your party is small - gravel roads for some of the prettiest locations. - Get the KI tourist booklet at the airport - only Telstra gets connection, so the island map is a lifesaver. - Definitely reach out to Craig for island recommendations :)
