The breakfast was excellent. The room was modern. The location is ideal and the house is lovely. Nice restaurant and bar.

Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Beautiful comfortable property, full of character and in an excellent location.

Located in Zeals and with Longleat House reachable within 20 km, The Bell & Crown provides express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. The room was outstanding. Roomy, clean, comfortable beds, opening windows with cushioned seats in them, and an exceptional bathroom. Coffee and tea making facilities that included fresh coffee and a press, as well as a thermos with milk. Very friendly people, good food, although, due to a busy Sunday the Cheeseburger was sold out, but that always makes me happy as they then do not come out of a freezer. Breakfast was perfect. Many choices, even up to a Bloody Mary if you are in need of one :-) Location right next to a road (hey, it is an inn...), ample parking and very close to Stourhead House. Also an easy couple of hours from Dover which makes it a nice target for your first or last night in Britain.

Set 7.9 km from The Circus Bath, Spinneycross offers accommodation with a patio, as well as barbecue facilities. Our host Dorothy provided a scrumptious breakfast. nothing was too much trouble. The location is away from town, close to a wonderful pub for an evening meal. Every location we visited was within 30mminutes drive time, which meant I could rest.

Wingmore has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Salisbury, 20 km from Salisbury Train Station. As I said on Trip Advisor, Sarah should get a Michelin Star for her breakfast and snack productions as well as her decor touches. She was a lovely host and her recommendation to the Royal Oak for dining was also spot on. Visiting Stonehenge? This is a marvelous place to stay and very convenient for touring in and around Stonehenge.

Located in Salisbury in the Wiltshire region, with Salisbury Train Station and Salisbury Cathedral nearby, Prestbury Bed & Breakfast provides accommodation with free private parking. Salisbury is a small city, so walking 15 minutes from the train station to the b & b is no big deal. This also means that the way from the b & b to the city centre does not take more than 10 minutes, which is absolutely acceptable - and it is on a beautiful footpath along the River Avon. Ken and Jacqui are an extremely welcoming couple, they make you feel at home from the very first moment. Room and bathroom are absolutely comfortable and very modern in terms of equipment, there is more than enough space for everything, and the bed is also very comfortable. A real standout, however, is the breakfast: there is a lot of loving care in it (no other word is possible here !), the beautifully arranged fruit plate offers a wide variety from blueberries over kiwis to strawberries, to mention just a few, which makes for a very healthy start into the day (in most hotels, even the more expensive ones, you do not get anything like this !). This is followed by a choice of English or Continental breakfast, in different variations. This definitely exceeded my expectations by far ! Should I ever come to Salisbury again, this would doubtlessly be my accommodation of choice. I can absolutely recommend it !
