The owners were lovely and very kind. We wish them well with what they are trying to do with the accomodation.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Ferienhof Bludnik is a recently renovated guest house set in Kaupen, 37 km from Tropical Islands. Gorgeous location amidst forest and canal. We organised a last-minute trip for a short getaway from Berlin as we wanted to go kayaking in the Spreewald. We were lucky to get the last room available at Bludnik. The location is stunning. You have to walk a bit from the carpark but the payoff is that you are in the middle of the forest with no traffic sounds, only the singing of birds, the rustle of leaves and the gentle lapping of water against the dock. The rooms are very modern and elegant and the bed is so comfy that I slept very well, even from the first night, which almost never happens when I stay in a hotel. The hotel has kayaks for rent which I thoroughly recommend as we spent a beautiful 3 hours paddling around the town and then out along the Spree, which is a gorgeous section of the river. Will definitely be back.

Best place to stay. Understanding and friendly owner. Room was clean and ready to welcome our family with a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of towels in the bathroom. Great breakfast options in the morning .

Pension Schlossgasse is conveniently located in charming countryside in Lieberose, on the edge of the Spreewald forest and 80 km south of Berlin. Free private parking is available on site. Very friendly staff. As others have mentioned, we managed to check in after 19 o'clock. Extra bonus: mosquito net.

We spent one night at the hotel. We arrived late, the owner made every effort to leave the key, as the reception is open until 5 pm. But that's where the positives end. The breakfast was not bad

In a nutshell, this is a wonderful place to stay. The hosts are so friendly, you feel home right after arrival. Outstanding rooms, you want to move in. Great breakfast which I can strongly recommend. The Burg city center is reachable in a short walking distance, around 15 minutes. On my next travel to Burg I will stay here again.
