A recently renovated property, POUSADA VIVA VIDA is located in Barreirinhas near Wharf, City Hall and Barreirinhas Handicraft House. We liked everything, since the first contact with Karla, the Pousada Manager that help us a lot, to choose the best accommodation, her kindness during our stay, and the pousada facilities very confortable and clean. I strong recommend the Pousada Viva Vida

Located in Santo Amaro, Pousada Lençóis Eco Villa offers a garden. There is a year-round outdoor pool and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The room was very spacious, clean and new. The pousada is located close to the entrance of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, so it’s perfect for participating in tours. The quality of the daily breakfast was good. The best part of my stay was the host Carla. She was the sweetest person, took care of everything (organizing tours, ordering food, etc.) for me and spoke English really well.

Located within 1.1 km of City Hall and 1.2 km of Wharf, Pousada Casa Dunas provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Barreirinhas. Everything! It’s the best Pousada I’ve been to - and I have seen a good number of them. All very well kept and clean. No hurry when building it, but all things properly built, i.e no u painted corners or overpainted stuff. No paint on th stone etc. The owners and staff are super nice and helpful. They help you book tours and are always there for you. Immediate help if you have questions. On top of that is the location directly at the river super nice. All in all I would give more than 5 stars if possible.

Located in Tutóia in the Maranhão region, Pousada rancho sol nascente features a balcony and sea views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. It has great vibes surrounded by nature in a cozy place managed directly by the owners. Great breakfast and excellent value, the best in our vacation in this area of Brazil, highly recommended and literally on the beach… if coming back to this area I would like to stay again in this place.

Such great communication and assistance from the property after I made some bungles. They were super communicative and pointed me in the right direction to get my tours and transfers back on track.
