Housed in a historic building, No.16 offers accommodation with water sports facilities and free WiFi in Seaham, 600 metres from Seaham Beach. Location was just a short walk from the beach and close to lots of good restaurants and cafes. The beach is an excellent location for collecting sea glass. The room was superb, clean, warm (as we visited during Winter) with tea and coffee making facilities and an excellent rainfall shower. It is an unmanned hotel but the access instructions we received on the morning were easy to follow. I was able to communicate with the property via text when I had a question. Would thoroughly recommend this property.

On Queen’s Promenade on Blackpool’s North Shore, Granada Apartments Berkeley offers a range of contemporary serviced apartments, with a sun terrace to the front and walled patio area to the rear. It was very clean and modern, was a really good looking apartment with great views.

Situated within less than 1 km of Bispham Beach and 2 km of North Pier, The Penrhyn in Blackpool features a garden and rooms with free WiFi. Breakfast was excellent plenty to set you up for the day. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again.

Built in 1885, The Hopton Hotel is situated in less than 2 miles from Blackpool’s colourful town centre. With free Wi-Fi access in public areas, there is also a TV lounge, a bar, and a billiards... Great welcome, nice room spotlessly clean, free private parking, wonderful breakfast , value for money bar drinks. Sylvia and all her staff were very pleasant and welcoming nothing was too much trouble gor them. Would absolutely recommend this hotel if staying in Blackpool.

Situated on Whitby’s North Promenade, on Western Cliff, The Wheeldale offers cooked breakfasts, free parking and free Wi-Fi. The host is exceptionally friendly, we had a warm welcome and felt like home away from home.
