The apartment is absolutely beautiful, modern , huge bed , beautiful bathroom, sky sports available , small basket with breakfast snacks! Choice of tea , coffee and milk, has a mini fridge where you can have alcohol (we don’t drink but it would be nice for people who did) there is biscuits and robes as well as slippers , again we didn’t use these but a great asset! I read the manual which I’m glad I did because I didn’t know how to get hot water for a brew, it’s the tap which provides it !

Situated in Cockermouth and only 18 km from Buttermere, The Globe Apartments features accommodation with city views, free WiFi and free private parking. Superb location. right in the town center. Private parking was a huge bonus. Thanks to Helen for letting us make different checking in arrangements.

Grindal Studio Apartments - Newly Opened Luxury Accommodation in St Bees provides adults-only accommodation with a fitness centre and a shared lounge. Superb accommodation in a gorgeous part of the world. Our apartment was well-stocked, spacious and clean, with an amazingly comfortable bed and fantastic shower. The location is great for walking, and parking was really easy. We really felt like it was our home from home for those few days. Will definitely be returning.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Arual Caravan Manor House Park. Allonby, Cumbria is situated in Maryport, 40 km from Derwentwater Lake and 41 km from Buttermere. A 5 minute drive into Allonby and Jack's surf bar serving great food. There is an outdoor kid's play area and a bar on site. The caravan is very well equipped and has a few kid's games and lots of dvd's.

1 West End Boutique Apartment is located in Bowness-on-Windermere, 42 km from Askham Hall, 42 km from Muncaster Castle, as well as 49 km from Trough of Bowland. The host is really friendly and helpful. It was very clean and overall cosy. Directly in the middle of Bowness. Would recommend staying here any time. We're definitely coming back here. :)

Doodle Den is set in Kendal, 36 km from Trough of Bowland, 38 km from Askham Hall, and 49 km from Derwentwater Lake. Fantastic flat near town centre amenities. We only live locally but used as stopover when attending a gig at Brewery Arts which is short walk away, as are the towns bars and restaurants. Decor is stylish and modern, but cosy and fittings are to a high standard. Easy check in/out and helpful owners. Highly recommend:)

Located in Windermere, 2 km from World of Beatrix Potter and 36 km from Derwentwater Lake, High Street Apartment provides accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. Its only couple of minutes walk from the train station and there’s a lot of food options and grocery stores within walking distance. The amenities are excellent, the design of the apartment was modern and sleek, definitely has a cozy vibe. The owner was very helpful answering our queries and even recommended food places for us. Highly recommend this for families and travelers in a group.
