All staff absolutely super friendly and helpful. We were met by Luca who hosted us throughout our stay and we were warmly welcomed into the Emerald Bay family. Luca took us out on the boat (dhow) each day to the amazing pristine white sand banks and turquoise warm sea - totally magical and relaxing. Emerald Bay is truly a genuinely special place, out of the tourist hot spots and absolutely in tune with nature and the location. We loved our stay. Thank you to Luca and Raphael for creating the perfect finale to our East African adventure.

Our room was very comfortable and spacious. We stayed in the premium rooms. Property has recently gone through a renovation and is quite nice and a good value compared to the other two options in the area. They are really trying to create a nice experience for guests. They had scooters for rent to explore the area. Nice beach to walk during low tide. It’s a nice option in an area that has limited options.

Wunderschöne Anlage mitten im Nirgendwo. Die Anreise dauert zwar eine ganze Weile, aber wir haben uns die 10 Tage die wir dort verbracht haben, sehr sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Personal ist aufmerksam, das Essen war jeden Tag ein Genuss und die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten waren auch vielfältig. Man muss natürlich im Hinterkopf behalten, dass das Hotel schon etwas älter ist und das tropische Klima sein übriges tut, aber die Atmosphäre die dort herrscht ist wirklich wunderbar. Absolut keine Beschwerden und auch das nicht so gute WLAN ist super, um wirklich abschalten zu können :) Wir würden immer wieder kommen!
