The house was beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and full of charm, with a cozy interior and a very comfortable bed. The outdoor spaces offer stunning views — perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the decor. Maria, the host, was absolutely wonderful — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with recommendations and anything I needed. The location is ideal for visiting Santa Cruz, enjoying nearby hiking trails, reaching the airport quickly, or taking a dip in the natural swimming pool. The overall atmosphere was quiet and private. I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.

Ich musste 2 Nächte länger bleiben, da Flüge kurzfristig storniert wurden. Es war kein Problem länger zu bleiben. Danke nochmal dafür.

There is also a convenient parking lot next to the police station nearby. It is an ideal spot when you have a car and are planning to make trekking trips around the island. The town is fairly small, so there is no problem in finding it. Owner also sent me the photo of the alley and how to get in so it was no problem at all. I´ve never met the owner but he was really respectful and straightforward in his online communication, which I appreciate. The apartment had all the appliances, washing machine, stove, microwave. Bathroom had a bidet. Although when washing clothes, you have to hang the laundry outside the old way. (good luck with the weather!) What came as a really nice surprise was a heated massage chair and a tv with good internet connection. There is also a small pier right next to the apartment so you can just go look at the night sea before sleep. It is very serene and quiet during off season. And it is all just behind the kitchen window!
