This eco-friendly hotel is next to Öskjuhlíd Hill’s quiet woods and 1 km from Nauthólsvík geothermal beach. WiFi and gym access are free. I love how friendly the staff in this hotel! And also the room is very good. We got a free upgraded room! There is massanger in our bed. We’re very enjoy stay in here. They have a very spacious parking location and it’s free! Definitely will come back stay in here when we go to Iceland again!

The stay here was incredible! Located in a seaside neighbourhood with gorgeous seaside “beach houses” with nice architecture, this stay was a lovely location, with a seaside path in the backyard that is a lovely walk on the ocean. The apartment itself is a basement unit that was so incredibly well appointed, with so many extras and high end amenities. The pictures shared by the host are so accurate and the bathroom is incredible with a large soaker tub. Edda, the host, was helpful and so quick to respond to our questions. 100% would stay here again in a heartbeat, what a gem!

Ciutat petita que es pot visitar en un dia.
Ciutat petita que es pot visitar en un dia. Important pujar a la torre de l'església per veure les vistes i fer-se una idea de com és la ciutat. Hi ha dos carrers importants, amb botigues, súpers, bars, pintades al terra... Bonic passejar-hi.

És una ciutat petita (al costat d'altres que hem visitat...
És una ciutat petita (al costat d'altres que hem visitat o de la que vivim), però molt bonica. El centre es correspon amb les d'altres països nòrdics, amb edificis no gaire alts. És una ciutat de costa, però degut a la seva ubicació les temperatures i la climatologia en general no crida al bany com les que tenim al Mediterrani (obvi!). Només tenen el bus i el taxi com a transport públic. És normal que no vulguin fer cap despesa en infrastructures on el manteniment es faria insoportable durant el llarg hivern. En qualsevol cas, moure's per Reykjavik és molt fàcil ja que és una ciutat on tot es troba a ma. Respecte del menjar recomano qualsevol lloc d'Street Food. Seria imperdonable no tastar el delicios Hot Dog (considerat un dels millors del mon). Tampoc s'ha de deixar de tastar qualsevol de les sopes del dia, ben calentes, que a temperatures sota zero sempre van molt be. La recomanació és visitar-la. Nosaltres tornarem de ben segur.

Amb 4/5 dies tens temps de visitar el més important del sud, sud-oest i sud-est de l'illa. Per un primer contacte, pocs dies de vacances o una escapada i per persones amb mobilitat reduïda es un destí ideal perquè la capital és petita i si t'allotges al centre pots fer les visites amb vans petites a totes les zones més turístiques sense cansar-te i vient tota la part sud del país en molt poc temps. M'ha sorprès la facilitat de moviment i la comoditat. La ciutat és molt petita i en mig dia/un dia si vols aprofundir amb museus la tens vista. Està bé com a centre logístic per visitar el sud. Si tens la possibilitat de més dies el més recomanable és llogar autocaravana o cotxe i fer la volta a la illa i compaginar-ho amb algun trequing -n'hi ha per tots nivells-

És una ciutat bonica i agradable.
És una ciutat bonica i agradable. Té una bona oferta turística i cultural, la gent és amable i es menja molt bé. Potser és una mica cara, però val la pena. En el centre és fàcil desplaçar-se sense haver d'agafar transport públic.
