Room was lovely and it was a a little noisy on a Saturday as it was above a bar. Overall, an excellent experience management and staff were amazing and very helpful.

Set amid the shops on Alton's main street "Not to be confused with Alton (the home of Alton Towers) in the Midlands" the Swan Hotel is a historical building that dates back to 1377. Hotel was very busy at breakfast with a wedding party . We were told about this in advance and staff were most helpful. Although very busy and stretched they were polite and courteous throughout. Mandy the manager was excellent at reception and helpful during our stay

Situated in spacious grounds, Alton House Hotel is the largest hotel in Alton featuring ample free parking and free Wi-Fi. Alton town centre is just a 5-minute walk. All of the staff that we encountered were absolutely delightful & very efficient. Having our dog with with us, the French doors straight outside made life so much easier.

It was at a convenient location for my visit, walking distance to Jane Austen house or Alton. Alternatively you can take the bus. It's cute, tiny, but has everything needed for a short stay. It was quiet during the night. The pub next to it had really good dinner and breakfast, with attentive staff and nice local people hanging out.

Located 7.7 km from Jane Austen's House Museum, Medstead Lodge offers 3-star accommodation in Four Marks and features a garden. Very comfortable room. My host Allen made me feel at home and was very hospitable. I will definitely be staying again soon
