This resort is beautiful. We like how quiet and relaxing this place is. Our room is big and comfortable. We get to enjoy the hot tub and the pool. The restaurant at the resort has a great menu. We enjoyed our dining experience. Overall, we really had a great time at this resort.

This worked well for a girls' trip where we wanted more privacy than a single hotel room. The bedrooms are snug, but the living room had soace for us to sit when we weren't out on the back porch (where we spent most of pur time). The AC was wonderful. The loft area is not usable by adults (not tall enough if you want to stand up). The boat was very clean and a lovely marina view. We saw manatees a couple of mornings. Also, there is a Publix grocery store across the road, which was really convenient. One of the best features is that you can use a nice little beach club up the road-- really nice beach with chairs and a bit of shade as well as a pool and hot tub. Marathon was a great place to stay in the Keys-- close enough to go down to Key West a couple of days and up to Key Largo on another.

It was so peaceful and beautiful. Sitting on the back deck watching the sunset and just enjoying the tranquility of the evening and sharing it with friends. You can’t beat it. We’ll be back.

The location is great but our room was dangerous with a step up to the very tiny bathroom and a step up to the bed and at night it was dangerous.

Marathon is a great stop before going to key west or if you want to fish or do activities. KW isn't a great destination for that. Marathon is much quieter but also closes early.
I'd much rather stay in Marathon for a longer part and do an overnight in KW.

Went to Bahia Honda State Park - beaches were ok.
Went to Bahia Honda State Park - beaches were ok. They offer paddle boarding and kayak rental there. went on several trails, which were nice. Went on the old 7 mile bridge (cloudy day), but didn't get to see sunrise. Drove out to see mini deers and got to see a glimpse of one (it was not near sunset or sunrise, which is the time they recommend you go to see them).

I am extremely picky and I can say that this resort is simply amazing. Spotless. Cleanest place I have ever visited with all the luxury you could expect. Best resort in the keys ! Don’t hesitate to book this. You will not find better
Centrally located in Marathon,Florida! All of the local attractions are a quick quick drive or bike ride! Just under an hour to Key West, if that is you jam. Great local fair and attractions. Want a vacation away from the Mouse and Mr. Margarita, this is the place. Personal touch from the staff and will spend the time with you. Not a hurry up next in line feel. You get the undivided attention . We will be coming back as soon as our schedules allow! The pool has stairs with rail. The bikes and kayaks are well maintained ready to go exploring.
It’s nice and quiet overlooking the canal with boats.
Close to sombrero beach and strategically located
in the middle of the keys so you can go and visit the
other beautiful beaches around.
The hotel offer loungers and umbrellas which is
very convenient. The pool is very pleasant.
overall we had a good stay
My stay at Captain Pips in Marathon, Florida was delightful! The rooms were cozy with a charming nautical theme.. The views of the marina added a relaxing backdrop to our vacation. With its close proximity to local attractions and eateries, it's a hidden gem in the Keys that I can't recommend enough!
Room was nice, tile floors. The motel felt more homey than a motel, and in a great location. Key Colony Beach is a nice community tucked away in the keys. Its in a great spot to visit all the Keys without being too crowded by large hotels/people.
Room was comfortable and clean. Location was great but I specifically choose this hotel for my planned activities. Covid has everything messed up , they were working on reopening the pool bar and I think it can be an awesome little bar to relax.
We stayed in Marathon as a little stopover between travelling the Keys. The rooms were very comfortable, large and well looked after. lovely shower!
The staff were brilliant, and the beach area was a lovely addition.
The room and the general setup of the hotel are super. Especially the salt water pool/lake are a nice idea. The location on the way from Miami to the keys was perfect to us.
great location mid keys, easy drive to key west for day trip. On the water at marathon, good outdoor facilities. rooms comfortable and staff very friendly. good value
Excellent location, right on the beach, lovely view from the balcony. Very nice, spacious apartment. Excellent on site restaurant both for dinner and breakfast
Charming houses, in «tropical» colors. Great base for exploring Key West and the Florida Keys. Parking in front of the house. Go eat at the Keys Fisheries!!!
Room was very clean! Couldn’t use the pool or find staff to let you in. Hotel is on a busy highway so you hear all the noises including a rooster at 3am
