Very clean, big fridge with freezer in the room. The couple who run the Rynn are the most helpful and lovely people you could wish to meet. Set in the old town near bars and restaurants. 50m from the walking street. I think they will be a big success as the are the perfect hosts. The rooms are large suites with each having an individual boutique feel. Loved it.

Very very good price for this nice hotel with pool. There is a water slide and kids area at the pool - big plus when you are with kids. Staff kind and helpful. The restaurant nearby Hapa is very good and fair price. They had live music, which was a bit loud. Rooms were clean and nice beds.

Laid back small town with plenty of interesting choices for food. Very welcoming people, nice and smiling. There's perhaps not much to do in the evenings, but during daytime you can walk around discovering traditional Thai food and snacks at very affordable prices. On Saturday afternoon and evening there's a very popular and nice street market. The small lake or water reservoir features a great sunset view and a walkway all around the perimeter.

Check your location.
Check your location. The road can be very difficult even for good, experienced drivers. Parts are very steep and narrow with sharp bends and you need to use first gear in places. No mention of this in the adverts and another time we would use local transport as they are used to the conditions and know the roads, especially dangerous when dark and always dark after 6pm so be aware! Very nice beaches and food and some areas have beach entertainment with a live fire show in the evenings. Plenty of activities, we enjoyed kayaking on the beach. There are viewpoints marked for excellent photos. Would like to stay longer next time.

Great guest house, but id recomend more than one night ( which people usually do before hitting the islands). Trat is a lovely old traditional Thai town, with lovely old buildings and super friendly locals, how Thailand used to be before mass tourism.

Trat is a very interesting town with lots of surprising history. The lake side area is very pretty, and the museum is really good. the town is very confusing to get around and very few eating and drinking places. It's quite industrial and unfortuately our hotel (Trat City Hotel, which was very nice indeed), but way out of town. Very few tuk tuks or taxis and too far to walk to the town and night markets. We hired a motor bike for the one full day we had in Trat. our hotels' restaurant 'Harprs' was excellent but the only one around so no choice for our 2 nights. We enjoyed our stay but not memorable....we won't return to Trat on our next trip.

Low key provincial town.
Low key provincial town. Not set up for tourists, and absolutely no hustlers. Great local market, nice back streets. Locals are really into exercise, and it was great fun to wander around at sunset and see all the activity! To be recommended as a stopover for stocking up before or after going to the islands.
Beautiful little boutique hotel with the best and warmest host on our entire Thailand trip. Mr. Too is very helpful and organizes everything. Scooter, ferry, the best cappuccino - you don't have to worry about anything. Even when my wife wasn't feeling well and we couldn't go out to eat, he ordered a delicious dinner for us and helped me pick it up.
I would give 11 or 12 stars rating, unfortunately you can only give 10 here at Booking.com. Thank you again for 2 wonderful days in Trat. We'll come back sometime!
I cant believe that this hotel does not have a 10 rating. It is extremely nice, the room is large, quiet, with a balcony. The bed is large and comfortable, everything works. The furniture is high quality and not Ikea stuff. It might not be instagrammable but there went some effort into it. Honestly, this hotel ticks all the boxes especially for the price. People would not book this for a long stay because of its location, but for an overnight in Trat this is really a great place to stay
This ws the second time we stayed at Rimklong, and I expected it to be wonderful, but it was even more wonderful. Tuu is a mos gracious host and did everything he could to ensure we had everything we needed, knew where to eat, and what to see in Trat. The room was quite large, had a gloriously comfortable bed as well as high quality linens and great towels. I jus really appreciate the efforts Tuu has made to make the place wonderful.
The owners have done an amazing job of creating a little haven in Trat. We loved our colourful rooms decorated with lots of beautiful art pieces and the gardens as well. We had breakfast at the cafe in the morning, where the owner made us delicious coffees and tropical fruit platters, and the owner organised our transport for us going on to Koh Chang. We loved our stay!
This hotel is in a beautiful location, although a taxi ride into town for an oldie like me. The room had a lovely balcony overlooking the river and was spotlessly clean. The host was very friendly and the breakfast of egg, sausage and toast was nice. The only problem were the beds. They looked superb but they were so hard and we didn't sleep well.
Everything! The property was beautiful and exceeded my expectation! The owner and her mum were amazing and helped us so much! We checked in pretty late as we drove from Cambodia to Thailand and the owners mum took us to a restaurant to eat and drove us to 7 11 and took us to the ferry the next day. The rooms were lovely too! We will be back! 😊😊
Been staying here for 20 years+ and post-covid Farang owner has really put some work into the old house. Nice gardens with hammocks etc in a lovely part of Trat. I need aircon in late march and it worked well.
Was as the picture shows. Best coffee and breakfast really good. We used the pool and walked on walkway around the dam. Staff amazing and got around room ready as soon as possible as we arrived early
Sadly only stayed for the night and didn’t get to experience much of Trat which was a shame. Was a good stay for the night and the host was great. Easily located to get to the pier for Koh Kood
Room was clean & comfortable. Lovely pool & centrally located to shops & market. Staff very friendly & helpful. Cafe on site. Very nice hotel & priced extremely well priced. Will stay again!
Hosts were very helpful and friendly, we enjoyed chatting with them about Thailand and the local area. Well located for a night’s stay en route for Bangkok. Very good breakfast.
Beautiful location, a little quieter than some of the other hotels as it’s further along the beach and out of town. Has lots of character but still solid, clean and practical.
Beautiful resort and very friendly staff. We were there for one night. Rooms were lovely and the resort was within walking distance to the town centre.
