The staff were lovely, they could not have been more helpful and friendly. They spoke perfect English and were easy to communicate with. I feel guilty giving a slightly negative review because they were so nice.
Bathroom really nice with good toiletries.

No bed bugs as we always check with our UV torch.
WiFi is ok too - speed test at roughly 30MBPS down and about 15 up.
The shower works perfectly and the room is clean. The breakfast was a traditional Thai breakfast - though the plates were small, it is a buffet. It's a 4 minute walk from the bus station so it's really convenient and doesn't require a taxi or tuk tuk, even when we were carrying loads of luggage.
The staff called a company to book the taxi and speedboat to koh phayam too, which was welcomed since the ride hailing apps don't seem to operate here (at least the ones we tried!)
The hotel was quiet and the A/C worked perfectly. It doesn't have an auto function but, for those who get warm overnight, it's got a very quiet setting. There's plenty of space in the room too for both storage and the bed. We ended up in a bedroom that had space for a third person too. The hotel itself was fairly empty when we went, even though there are probably only 16 rooms in total.
