This room should be condemned , it was beyond filthy , the shower leaked in the room across the carpet I moved the beds and there was months and months worth of food and debris under each one . The bedside table and other furniture was broken . I have not experienced such a bad room in a very long time . This property used to be amazing

Didn't. Electronic door lock battery dying. Took 30 minutes in freezing cold to open the door. Rang the staff, went to message bank, no o e answered. No lights at door. Finally, door lock opened. One Air con unit covered in mould. Other air con loud, did not warm. Room freezing. Mould on shower tiles, and water leak under vanity. Door cracked, and hollow. Crap security. Filthy appearance. Room smelled of damp. Health risk

Mussellbrook is an old town which you pass through on the way to Scone or Singleton or further.
Having stayed here a long time ago I can't say anything stands out.
There is an art gallery and several other tourist spots which were outlined in our room but we didn't stay long enough to investigate.

If you like great drives, especially ones that include really nice scenery, Muswellbrook is a surprisingly excellent centre to base yourself. Scone to Merriwa, Merriwa back to Muswellbrook, the *incredible* Bylong Valley Way, the breathtaking Lake St Clair, the roads around East Gresford, the list goes on ... .

I went there to have some R & R.
I went there to have some R & R. I just sat in the sun and read on Monday. Tuesday was overcast and cool so I stayed in doors and watched some TV. And took my dog for several walks which we both enjoyed.
We had a wonderful stay at Muswellbrook Northside B&B. Everything was great. The room, the deck, the facilities, the area, everything. The room was well presented, super comfy and spotless. Extra point for the towels that were more than soft and smell like home. The items provided for breakfast were fantastic as we had variety for every taste. We even had the BBQ available for use which we used for our dinners on the deck. We cannot say more than thank you to the owners for a great closing of the year.
My wife and myself stayed at the Wayfarer Motel, Muswellbrook for two nights on family business. I found the owners/Managers to be Polite and helpful. We were permitted to stay a little longer past the checkout time which really helped my wife and myself. It was a very quiet place considering the Highway traffic passing out the front of the Motel. I would definitely stay there again. Thankyou.
Reception was closed despite being within open hours. Had to call several times before someone answered to give me check in details. This could have been emailed to me. Also when checking out in the morning, I waited till opening hours to check out yet no one was at reception. Had to call a few times to hand keys in and someone rocked up half asleep and half clothed. Very creepy.
Comfortable and very quiet room. For breakfast, a delicious egg 🥚 and bacon 🥓 roll with fresh barista coffee ☕️ a great deal for $10. Very reasonable tariff. Hotel in a great location, easy walk to eating establishments. Our go to when staying overnight in Muswellbrook.
not one thing rooms where a 20 years old bed was ready for the dump carpet worn your website shows i cansled my rooms my wife could not walk up the stairs no lift my daughter stayed in her room said it was bad we went to a funeral your hotel was very disapointing
Clean, comfortable, value for money, excellent service and condition of hotel & room was exceptional. Great touch to offer a sparkling wine or water on arrival. Breakfast included was great & variety offered - for a continental breakfast, was above & beyond.
Debbie, the Hotel Manager, is a star. She is so lovely to deal with. The motel itself could do with a bit of maintenance, toilet in the room I was in flushed intermittently. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay.
What a wonderful place to stay, greeting by very cheery happy staff, got great smells of candles and nice art and furniture as you walk in. Would recommend this place to anyone travelling to muswellbrook.
