I had a really relaxing couple of days at this hotel. I loved being able to get to the beach so easily and the local area was pleasantly suburban (not industrial) on my morning walk, so I felt very safe walking alone. This hotel is comfortable and clean without being too modern or sterile. I was impressed by the size of my room which would have easily doubled most hotel rooms I see. The staff overall were pleasant, friendly, and I had the impression that they were well treated and happy. The restaurant/kitchen staff were particularly good - so were the buffet meals they served. I would definitely stay here again for a fuss-free and relaxing holiday within easy access to a great city.

The breakfast was spectacular. The location, excellent; we could walk to the main touristic attractions. The room was very confortable; I would say that it was bigger than other ibis rooms that we have used.

The birthplace of Picasso is as colourful as an artist’s palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. When the sun sets, the vibrant nightlife awakens and you’ll find your place amongst the youthful square of the old centre, the trendy bars of La Malagueta or on one of the terraces of Pedregalejo.
There's also rich history underneath the sun and fun. Alcazaba is a Moorish castle from the 11th century and just next to it are the remnants of a Roman Theatre. The white stone tower of the Malaga Cathedral rises up in the heart of the city centre, and offers an interesting respite from sun bathing on the magnificent and popular beaches.
A more modern history can be appreciated by visiting the birthplace of Picasso and a museum full of exhibitions by Malaga’s most famous resident. A more relaxed Spanish city than Madrid and Barcelona, Malaga is still the gateway to the Costa del Sol and the busy Malaga Airport is only 10 km from the centre of town.
From budget hostels to 5-star luxury hotels, with Booking.com you’re sure to find the perfect accommodation for your sunny holiday.

Malaga has nice shops and great boat trips on offer. There are also plenty of restaurants and the public transport is easy to navigate. Next time we would probably rent a car so that we can also visit a few nearby places.

We loved Malaga and found it very lively and friendly.
We loved Malaga and found it very lively and friendly. We came across two free concerts outdoors which were a lovely surprise. The whole place had a cosmopolitan yet relaxed vibe that we really enjoyed. Loved El Pimpi - great atmosphere, beautiful inside and the staff are good fun!! Great museums too, lots to do and see (lots are free on Sundays) Malaga is very easy to get around, we walked everywhere. Loved the coffee and Basque cheesecake at Next Level café. So many places to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and some people watching! Can’t wait to go back! :)

Nice city, clean streets, nice to walk thru, not to small, not to big, lots of restaurants, terrific place to have breakfast (go to La Flor Negra), Sea& beach at walking distance. Our stay was 5 min. away from the touristic centre. We were there for 6 day's (5 nights). 1 or 2 day's less is also enough to visit Malaga unless you want to visit the surroundings.

Malaga is a wonderful city with so much history.
Malaga is a wonderful city with so much history. Have been flying here for more than 40 years but often passed through to another destination until about 15 years ago when we discovered the draw of this city. It has everything. Beaches and chiringuitos, city experiences, great tapas and restaurants generally, a market to challenge the one in Barcelona, plenty of Picasso , galleries and museums, shopping, pedestrian streets, a wonderful cathedral and architecture generally, a regenerated port area which is worth spending a day visiting. Lots to do: live free music often, flamenco, street entertainers, boat trips around the bay and harbour, great wines .... we had better stop or there will be too many visitors.

Loved wandering the streets and seeing the various sites...
Loved wandering the streets and seeing the various sites around the city, we were there in May so didnt have too many issues getting into the sites. I would advise going as early as possible though to avoid the cruise ship tours. We ate out every night and thoroughly enjoyed every meal. Getting to the city from the airport was quick and easy using the bus, we also did a day trip to Ronda on the bus which was a fantastic day.
A wonderful hotel in every respect, very nice, polite and helpful staff, great breakfasts, many delicious dishes, several types of bread, yogurts, juices, coffee, cakes, a very nice restaurant, clean room, bed made every day, fresh towels every day, several TV programs, also in English, German.
A wonderful terrace overlooking the old town of Malaga. Quiet and really very pleasant. Close to everything, great connection to the airport (4 stops by light rail - 15 minutes). Thank you so much.
I would highly recommend
Ideal hotel for a short break to Malaga, truly excellent location, for access to old town, (right next to cathedral) and sight- seeing, beautiful views of Malaga.
Roof top area has exceptional panoramic view of Malaga
Beach and marina a very short walk away.
We had a sea view which I would recommend.
Stayed bed and breakfast, breakfast not the most exceptional but adequate.
However there are so many places to eat spoilt for choice and reasonably priced.
Easily accessible from airport by Airport bus A
Location was superb and although it’s central to the old town it’s very quiet. The staff were very good and efficient and gave great restaurant tips. The bed is very comfortable. the shower excellent. The hotel is very clean. I had a room with no external windows which although was a bit cheaper I would have opted to pay for windows if I had known it’s less joyful to relax during the day. I didn’t include breakfast as there are good immediate options but it looked good.
Great location in lovely Malaga. Directly opposite beach, with restaurants and a small supermarket nearby. Well equipped modern kitchen and comfy beds. Easy to find and collect the keys. Aircon in the living room with fans in the bedrooms. About 10 mins walk to old town and the harbour with Pompidou centre. Walk up to the castle for great views of the city (though it’s quite a trek so don’t do in the heat)Old town is fabulous with loads of great restaurants.
The hotel is very close to a Renfe station and therefore the airport, it has a very good location also being close to the beach and the old town. The room is clean, I think they even mopped the floor every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel. It is plus that they have luggage storage service. For example my flight left only at 20:30, and I did not have to worry about my luggage after checkout at 12:00.
This was our first trip away since the pandemic started. A short break away with the family. The hotel was perfect - ten minutes from the airport, a ten minute walk to the beach and good restaurants nearby. Bus trip into Malaga old town is half an hour. Perfect location.
The hotel facilities were excellent. A lovely quiet spot. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful - booking taxis and restaurants for us
We really enjoyed our stay! Perla de Malagueta had a great location and an awesome view of the area. The apartment was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Old town was walking distance as well as the beach. Polina was very attentive and would check with us often. We liked having a washer ánd dryer in the apartment. We recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Malaga.
Located close to the beach and had free parking in the street. Spacious apartment with lots of rooms and beds. Clean kitchen and shower. We really liked the nearby Huelin neighborhood for food and drinks with the locals instead of the touristy old town. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They offered us to stay longer and also to take us to the airport for our flight home.
Perfect location, 5 min walk from the Malaga beach, food stores and restaurants nearby, public transport 5 min walk. Modern equipment, quite digitalized hotel, meets the title idea- Future hotel. Receptionists very 🤗. Gave advice on sites to visit. Bicycle for 1 hr every day for free. Spacious common rooms: fully equipped kitchen, leisure hall.
Super modern and futuristic hotel which is a good change compared to other hotels or airbnb's. The place is really clean and the staff makes sure you always have clean towels and everything is spotless. The location is really convenient 3 mins walk from the beach, there are 2 small shops around and you reach Malaga old town in 10 mins.
We got into Malaga late evening and we had a long drive to our destination. We decided to stay the night close to the airport. This Hotel was a close drive and their kitchen was open late, so we enjoyed a pizza and a glass of wine before retiring to a comfortable bed. It did just what we needed. Very pleasant staff
Close to it all. Old town, back streets, train station, port, beach, castle, even Malaga C.F stadium. Compact hotel and good value with the authentic back street Spanish city feel. Good guy on reception who gave alot of solid recommendations and things to see.
Charming, great location (near old town and street away from Malagueta Beach). Hosts offered to arrange car pick up from airport or train. Extremely accommodating. Loved the little extras: Waters, fresh glasses, coffee service. Just lovely.
The hotel is in a perfect location within 5 minute walking distance to the old town of Malaga.
It is a beautifully decorated hotel which is always spotlessly clean and very quiet.
This really is the perfect hotel for a stay in Malaga!
Central hotel, beach marina side. Quite modern and trendy. We had an indoor 'view' but the room still seemed light and airy. Nice little bar and breakfast outside seating area. Better than a lot of other Malaga hotels.
Very well located. Walking distance to the Marina, Old town, Train or Bus station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would try first when were next in Malaga looking for a hotel.
