Manchester is wonderfull. I spoke to a local his name was Bert , he commutes from Stockport, I think he was a football fan as he was dressed from head to toe in his teams outfit , cap, big coat and a pair of boots i`d not seen since my teens think they were called Kickers,
He was very engaging and told me all about his massive club, He has not missed a game sine he began watching them in 2011.

Staggering changes since we lived there a decade ago.
Staggering changes since we lived there a decade ago. The Quays area hasn’t quite come together yet and it is curiously compelling the way they have linked housing in with the larger projects. It is bound to end up beautiful when Man U start their developments!
To top it all J Cooper Clarke and his supports brought the glorious Lyric Theatre to life. A great stay all round. Thank you, Manchester!

For those who enjoy the experience of seeing scantilly clad...
For those who enjoy the experience of seeing scantilly clad women staggering around drunk and fighting .. for the discerning traveller who delights in stepping over rough sleepers in shop doorways and trudging through discarded half eaten burgers and vomit..For the visitor who delights in being accosted for money or cigarettes by hunched over ,bedraggled strangers and who appreciates the heady smell of urine and cannabis in the streets.. Manchester is for you and will not dissapoint.

Such a lovely welcoming city.
Such a lovely welcoming city. We were able to walk in and eat at any chosen restaurants or bars and tram made navigating the city very simple. Lots of regeneration work being completed around the city too.

Love Manchester. Lots to do.
Love Manchester. Lots to do. Think the free bus from the railway station is a fantastic idea and more cities should do this to encourage visitors.
Always love to have Tapas at Evuna, never disappoints.
Lots of choice of shops and places to visit. This trip was to visit the theatre.
The location of the hotel is great; only a short walk from Manchester Victoria station and the city centre.
The room itself was spacious, nicely decorated and had plenty of tea/coffee and toiletries available. The bed was also very comfortable (I fell asleep pretty quickly!) and the bathroom was clean. I also appreciated that there was a fan in the room already there as most hotels you have to request for one.
The cooked breakfast muffin I had was delicious; and the member of staff at breakfast was very friendly.
Excellent location - Manchester City Centre
We booked for a theatre show - Pretty Woman
Parking very close (shutters are down but open as you try to enter Q parking) plenty of spaces
Breakfast was delicious (we ate @ 730am Sunday & 9am Monday - no queues) - attentive staff
Room was lovely & we really like having the fridge store drinks & food (Marks & Spencer meal in for two)
Plenty of shops close by buy drinks/food -
Clean, modern, stylish - like a hotel but apartments
We stayed on the 12th floor
The hotel is great! All Hampton by Hilton hotels have very high standards of food, service and comfort, so you will not do a mistake by choosing them where ever they have hotel.
The Manchester Hampton by Hilton is great, 15 min walk from city center, but if you don't want to walk, there is a bus station right across the hotel. The breakfast is great, especially the English breakfast :)
I sincerely recommend it to anyone who goes to visit Manchester.
Beautiful, clean, modern, contemporary well thought out room with excellent views of Old Trafford, Manchester City Centre and Peak District. Bed was super comfortable with USB / power sockets either side. Lots of storage and desk space. TV was great too. Breakfast very good, staff friendly and attentive. I stay in Manchester a lot and this hotel is excellent value for money and I will definitely say this is the best non spa hotel in Manchester.
One the best hotels that I have ever stayed in - the building’s architecture is superb; the staff very accommodating and available; the room was very comfortable, clean and roomy. The lobby and just the hotel presentation felt very regal. The restaurant and wait staff were also most excellent. I highly recommend The Midland and would stay here again when visiting Manchester.😊
The hotel was located in a very convenient location, with pretty much everywhere accessible via tram or foot. Plenty of food options nearby too. The room itself is compact, but could fit 2 people with luggage. Room was neat and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Would strongly recommend it for anyone visiting Manchester.
The area nearby is so beautiful and quite near the Exchange square tram station. Manchester Cathedral is just in front of the hotel and a nice park to spend some quality time. Breakfast was really good, typical English style with lots of options 😊 you can refill your water bottle for free from the beer bar area at the ground floor.
The location is fairly close to the airport but not close to the city centre for anyone who is interested is having a better connection to Manchester central. The nearest bus takes about 35 minutes to get to the centre. The only thing I liked about our room was the lighting in the bathroom and how easily the toilet would flush.
Nice comfortable hotel, perfectly located close to the city centre, less than 10 minutes walk to Manchester Picadilly train station. The breakfast was great as were the shower and the bed. Nice and friendly staff, very helpfull.
Lovely hotel and great design. We only had a short trip to Manchester but it was in an ideal location for getting to the station. Filling breakfast too and a discount on drinks in the bar which was great for a rainy evening!
The hotel is ideally located not far from the centre of Manchester. The tram and trains stations are within easy walk of the hotel.
The staff is very helpful. The staff members are courteous, welcoming and personable.
On arrival in Manchester we went to the hotel to request a baggage drop off until we could check in. The reception kindly checked us in early.
Location was excellent for rail connections and Castlefield bowl gigs.
Excellent hotel right in the heart of Manchester City Centre. The staff are attentive and friendly. Lovely atmosphere in the hotel and decorated beautifully. The bar and restaurant are both excellent.
Fabulous new hotel in Manchester. All the staff were excellent and made us feel welcome. Room was gorgeous. Perfect location for the night life in the city centre. Would highly recommend.
A beautiful hotel with original features, it is located in Manchester City centre close to shops and tourist attractions, and the staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly.
I liked the hotel nice and clean and Central to Manchester city centre and right in the heart of Manchesters gay village the staff went out of there way to make you welcome
